Over 2 lakh students registered in Madhya Pradesh’s CM Rise Schools

As of Tuesday, a total of 240,818 students have enrolled in the 274 newly established CM Rise Schools in Madhya Pradesh, according to an official statement. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hailed this as a significant achievement for the state government.

Launched in the academic session 2022-23, CM Rise Schools aim to provide high-quality education with facilities comparable to private institutions. Chouhan, during a review of the state school education department’s performance, expressed satisfaction with the positive response received by these schools. Addressing the challenge of ensuring quality education and overall student development, the Chief Minister emphasized a collaborative effort involving the state government, teachers, and parents. He announced plans to personally correspond with teachers and parents of CM Rise School students to encourage and motivate them.

During the meeting, officials highlighted the presence of digital classrooms, well-equipped libraries, laboratories, and high-standard facilities in CM Rise Schools. Selected teachers, school leaders, principals, and vice-principals have undergone effective training for the smooth operation of these schools. The schools also feature play-themed paintings and boards promoting value-based education.

Attendees at the meeting included Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister (Independent Charge) Inder Singh Parmar, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Rashmi Arun Shami, and other senior officials.
